Our Doctors
Dr. Lynch grew up in the east end of St. John's and earned her BSc in Behavioral Neuroscience from Memorial University. She pursued her optometry studies at Aston University in Birmingham, England, and subsequently gained valuable experience working in both London and rural England. Returning to Canada in 2021, Dr. Lynch embarked on her optometry career in Newfoundland, serving rural communities such as Clarenville, Bonavista, and Marystown, where she continues to operate several clinics.
Dr. Moores grew up in Middle Cove. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Memorial University, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. During her training, she interned at clinics in Newfoundland, throughout Canada, the US and also did a mission trip to Ecuador.
Dr. Swyers has been the owner of St. John's Optometry since 2017. She grew up in Logy Bay and did a joint honours in Chemistry and Biochemistry at Memorial University before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at University of Waterloo. Early in her career and through her training, she worked at clinics in Gander, Clarenville, Utah and Jamaica. She has also done volunteer trips to Ecuador, Honduras and Jamaica.
